My second random book arrived today: A Wild Adventure by Tom Pow, an imagination in verse of the Dumfries “convict and artist” Thomas Watling. It’s a wonderful artefact, mint condition, lovely thick pages, beautifully printed, with a story as strange as you could imagine. I’m very pleased with it.
